Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Rown Studios platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the platform.

Description of Service

Rown Studios provides a scheduling and room management platform for independent Pilates instructors operating within shared studio spaces. The platform facilitates room booking, calendar coordination, instructor management, and related administrative functions.

User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information when setting up your account
  • Maintain only one account per person
  • Notify the studio owner promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

Acceptable Use

You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose of studio scheduling and management. You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the service
  • Use the platform to transmit harmful, fraudulent, or unlawful content
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the platform

Scheduling and Bookings

All bookings made through the platform are subject to room availability and studio owner approval. The studio reserves the right to approve, reject, or cancel bookings at its discretion. Cancellation policies are governed by the rules established by the studio owner and communicated to instructors upon onboarding.

Payment Terms

Applicable fees for room usage and service packages are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a package or making a payment through the platform, you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Refund policies are governed by your service agreement with the studio. The studio owner determines pricing, package structures, and billing cycles.

Intellectual Property

The Rown Studios platform, including its design, software, text, graphics, and other content, is the property of Rown Studios and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the platform without prior written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rown Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim arising under these terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Rown Studiosin the twelve months preceding the claim. The platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. The studio owner may deactivate or suspend your account if you violate these terms or if your engagement with the studio ends. Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including limitation of liability and governing law, will remain in effect.

SMS Terms

By opting in to text message notifications in your account settings, you agree to receive recurring transactional account notifications from Rown Studios about your own bookings (booking requests, confirmations, declines, cancellations, and schedule changes). These messages are not promotional. Message frequency varies with your booking activity. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of using the platform. Reply STOP to cancel at any time, or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be resolved in the courts located in the State of California.
